Solvent Applications
PanTINT® 11
Vinyl co-polymer chip dispersions for use in manufacturing ink jet, vinyl inks, and coatings. PanTINT ® 11 vinyl chip dispersions are also available in solution as ready-to-use inks, UniFILM 54 and PanCRYL 52 HAPS-free.
PanTINT® 12
Acrylic chip dispersions for use in solvent borne and radiation cured coatings and inks are based on a unique modified thermoplastic acrylic resin with exceptionally broad compatibility. The carrier resin is readily soluble in ketones, aromatics, esters and glycol ethers for easy incorporation in most high performance solvent borne coatings. It is sufficiently soluble in acrylate monomer to allow their use in UV and EB cured coatings. Typical applications include high performance industrial finishes, automotive OEM and refinish coatings, and cabinet finishes.
Aqueous applications
PanTINT® Ultimate™ 2
Water soluble chip dispersions are granulated for ease of handling and incorporation with minimal dusting. They can be easily incorporated in most aqueous coatings and inks with simple mechanical mixing for 5 to 10 minutes using high sheer disperser, paddle mixer or paint shaker. They are resin-free for exceptionally broad compatibility, and are environmentally friendly with no solvents, VOC’s, APE’s or other hazardous ingredients. Pigment particle size has been reduced to less than 0.5 micron for use in high performance applications including industrial coatings, automotive refinish and ink jet inks.
PanTINT® 18
Water Soluble Acrylic chip dispersions can be used to formulate water based inks and coatings which require excellent transparency and gloss. These chips are soluble in aqueous systems at a pH of 9 or higher. Co-solvents such as alcohols may also be used to improve the rate of solution. Typical applications include high performance industrial finishes, automotive OEM and refinish coatings, and cabinet finishes. PanTINT ® 18 Chip Dispersions are available in chip form or in solution as PanTINT ® 95 liquid dispersions.
PanTINT® Specialty Chip Dispersions
We also have the capability to manufacture chip dispersions in CAB, CAP, Epoxy and other specialty resins as required by our customers.
